Thanks for the post! GPS reviews are crucial for persons who are investing in GPS systems for the first time and lack sufficient knowledge about these devices. If you spend much time driving in unfamiliar territory, especially if you rent cars in big cities, a good portable GPS makes an amazing difference. You should always make sure that you know about the product well before you purchase any GPS system. One of the best feature is tracking.Tracking is excellent and without noticable lag. besides it quickly notices that you're off track and recalculates a route quickly.

Garmin nuevi 760 4.3-Inch Widescreen
I'm very happy with this GPS. I previously had an older Magellan and it was awful- it got to the point it wouldn't even turn on. SO we decided to switch to Garmin, and this Nuvi is quite good actually. I like the Text to speech option, however the voice is VERY robotic, and some words I would've hoped for better pronunciation- and other times it speaks too quickly and I don't understand it- but it's better than nothing, and you can turn it off and go with a voice that doesn't attempt to say road names :)

I like the search options, it's quick to load, and just nice in general. I also like that you can download random "treats" from the Garmin site, such as images to replace your arrow and seasonal voices. fun!

I think is time for you to possibly perform a side by side test with the Magellan 4350 OneTouch with the latest firmware update, the TomTom Go 740 with map share and IQ routes feature along with the Garmin Nuvi 885T.
I don't think it is a fair comparison for you to make with the older Magellan Maestro 4250 and the TomTom Go 740 Live.

This is a great product. When I opened it, it fired right up. not hard to figure out how to use it either. Do think NAVIGON 2100 max could of included better instructions, but through trial and error I had it mastered within a few hours. It came installed with some older maps which couldn't find my house that is about 4 yrs old.

Now for the fun part

The fun side of GPS is now beginning to shine through. Yes, it's damned useful in getting us from A to B, but what if we don't know which letter we want to get to? What if we don't care? In that moment, we often turn GPS off, as it's a technology born of necessity (or, in my case, panic)… but that, my friends, is beginning to change. Microsoft's Photosynth is perhaps one of the best arguments for just leaving GPS "on" in the background and then having done so, you are suddenly able to bring a whole new world to life. When taking pictures, cameras with GPS or Wi-Fi positioning on board are still just used as cameras, but upload the photos to Photosynth (http://photosynth.net/) and because they've been geotagged with the exact co-ordinates of where they were taken, this ingenious bit of software uses your photo as one piece of a puzzle. It searches other databases, like the photo-sharing site Flickr and creates a wide vista (if you'll excuse the pun), or 360o vision of the location. You can then move around that virtual area and explore; relive; have fun.

Hello friends, congratulations by blog.
I recommend you that at the time of buying a GPS you buy one of quality and not any cheap thing that you that way see, to my I go that with blueetoh and in the end I had it to change by one good one, now I have a GPS that is of the best and the updates are most comfortable to do, if it interests and you are looking for a GPS to you I recommend one to you like mine, I give the connection you so that you prune it to compare with others.
